As the Assistant VP for Grand Canyon University’s Office of Grants and Research, Dr. Greenberger is a visionary leader dedicated to integrating academic excellence with spiritual growth. Having secured a prestigious grant from the Kern Family Foundation, he sought to launch a transformative university-wide initiative centered on character development. His goal was to move beyond theory and provide students with a practical, engaging way to cultivate their character.
Dr. Greenberger tasked the Canyon Creative team with developing a cutting-edge, proof of concept platform designed to analyze and form Christian character. Built with a Christian worldview at its foundation, this platform serves as a tool for GCU students to evaluate and intentionally improve their character, creating a lasting impact across the entire campus community.

The core challenge lies in the "application gap"—the difficult space between knowing the right thing to do and actually doing it. While identifying a moral choice is one thing, taking action is far more complex, especially in "morally gray" situations where no seemingly clear right answer exists. Much like a physical skill, character requires repeated practice to become second nature. To address this, Dr. Greenberger tasked Canyon Creative with building a Christian Character Formation Platform that allows students to exercise and strengthen their "virtue muscles" in a safe, digital environment that promotes self-reflection and growth.
To bring this vision to life, BrynMiller (web designer) utilized cutting-edge, no-code AI tools to create a functional proof of concept. The platform, hosted on Lovable, guides students through a character evaluation before and after engaging with a custom video simulation AI-generated via LTX. This simulation drops students into a high-stakes group project where a teammate isn't pulling her weight, challenging platform users to navigate difficult, real-world scenarios while upholding a Christian worldview. This prototype serves as the blueprint for a future, university-wide internal system designed to instill lasting character through an evolving library of AI-generated simulation videos and evaluations.

Working with Dr. Greenberger was an incredible experience; his deep insights provided the essential roadmap for Bryn to transform her proof of concept and paper into a reality. While AI-generated sites and videos often feel like a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie, this project proved they are powerful, real-world collaborators capable of driving serious results.
We are honored to share these findings and are grateful that our research can provide a blueprint for academia as a whole. It’s a privilege to contribute to a body of work that others can learn from and replicate as we all navigate this new technological frontier.
